This document describes how to get a temporary credential called Data Access Password, which allows you to log in to Yoda via the command line client, webdav client, or network drive.

Prerequisite

The user (researcher, group leader or data manager) must have a valid account to access the Yoda portal.

How to get the password

After logging in to the Yoda portal, go to the top right corner and click on the button with your username.

A drop-down menu appears and you click on the line "Data Access Password", which loads a new page with the title "Data Access Password".

Click on the button "Generate new Data Access Password". A pop-up window appears.

Choose a label and enter it in the field "Label".

Click on the button "Generate data Access password" and copy it in a safe place (for example in a password manager).

Yes, really, copy that Access password now somewhere, because once you close the pop-up window, it is no longer possible to see the password anymore.

Close the pop-up window. On the web page the new password is automatically added to the list with the expiration time and the button "Delete", which allows you to remove it before the expiration time.
