Here are three ways listed how to get access to SURFdrive on your mobile device.
Web browser
Via the web browser
You always have access to your files via a web browser. Go to SURFdrive and click on Login at SURFdrive.
ownCloud mobile app
Via the ownCloud-app for iOS and Android
Install the ownCloud Mobile app on your phone or tablet:
- Download the iOS-app or the Android-app.
- Add the following URL at Server address: https://surfdrive.surf.nl/files/
- Choose your institution and log in with your institution account.
- You can now use SURFdrive on your phone or tablet. You can view and download files, but only those that are recognized by your phone or tablet. (For example images, movie or music files and PDF)
- The buttons at the bottom of the page allow you to view your files, files have been shared with a public link, recent uploads and files/folders that are available when you are offline.
- By pressing the + button, you can upload new files, create a new folder and create a new shortcut.
- When you are logged in with your SURFdrive account to the ownCloud app, your session is saved. This is so that you don't have to log in again every time you open the app. To make access to the app extra secure, you can add a PIN. To do this, click on 'Settings' and then click on 'Security' and then on 'Passcode lock'.
