Dit is de startpagina van SURFeduhub. Vanaf hier kun je door onze documentatie navigeren en ontdekken wat SURFeduhub voor jou kan betekenen en hoe te verbinden. Beheerders en engineers van zowel onderwijsdata-aanbieders als onderwijsdata-afnemers kunnen hier beginnen.
Onderwijsinstellingen hebben allerlei onderwijsdata die ze kunnen uitwisselen om de mobiliteit van studenten te vergemakkelijken en het onderwijs flexibeler te maken. Denk aan data over onderwijsaanbod, rooster- en studievoortgangsinformatie. Om deze gegevens breder beschikbaar te maken binnen instellingen, hebben instellingen een centraal verbindingspunt nodig waar deze gegevens op een uniforme en veilige manier door de instelling aan verschillende dataklanten kunnen worden aangeboden. Of je het gemakkelijk vindt om verbinding te maken met SURFeduhub, hangt af van je kennis en achtergrond van de gebruikte protocollen. Ontwikkelaars die hiermee vertrouwd zijn, kunnen binnen een maand diensten verbinden. Neem de tijd om de OOAPI-standaard te leren kennen. De Open Onderwijs Application Programming Interface standaard wordt in veel sectoren gebruikt. Dus wanneer en waar je ook je diensten aanbiedt, kun je de tijd en moeite die je in de verbinding met SURFeduhub hebt gestoken, hergebruiken.
Nieuw: het SURFeduhub Dashboard
Maak je als onderwijsinstelling gebruik van SURFeduhub? Dan kan je met het nieuwe SURFeduhub Dashboard zelfstandig beheren welke gegevens je met welke applicaties deelt. Dit geeft je meer inzicht en controle over je data en maakt het eenvoudiger om aanpassingen door te voeren.

Acties als beheerder van SURFeduhub
Al aangesloten op SURFeduhub? Stuur dan een e-mail naar surfeduhub@surf.nl en vraag om toegang. Je krijgt vervolgens een SURFconext Invite per e-mail toegestuurd. Deze invite moet geaccepteerd worden met het instellingsaccount dat bij het e-mailadres hoort. Na acceptatie is in te loggin op het SURFeduhub Dashboard via https://dashboard.surfeduhub.nl.
Acties voor bestuurders
Ben jij een bestuurder? Zorg dat jouw SURFeduhub-beheerders weten van deze update en een kijkje nemen binnen het nieuwe Dashboard.
Zo zorg je samen met je applicatiebeheerder dat jouw onderwijsinstelling samen met SURF gedeelde verantwoordelijkheid aangaat voor jouw data.

Educational institutions have all kinds of education data that they can exchange in order to facilitate student mobility and make education more flexible. Examples include data about the education on offer, timetables, and academic progress information. In order to make this data more widely available across institutions, institutions need a central connection point where this data can be provided by the institution to various data customers in a uniform and secure manner. Get to know SURFeduhub and its advantages here and watch a short introduction video.
Whether you find connecting to SURFeduhub easy or not, depends on your knowledge and background of our used protocols. Developers familiar with these are able to connect services within a months work. Take your time to get to know the OOAPI standard. This Open Onderwijs Application Programming Interface (open educational application programming interface) standard is used in many sectors. So whenever and wherever you're offering your services, you can re-use this time and effort you've put into connecting to SURFeduhub.
New: the SURFeduhub Dashboard
Is your educational institution using SURFeduhub? Then you can independently manage which data you share with which applications using the new SURFeduhub Dashboard. This gives you more insight and control over your data and makes it easier to implement changes.

Actions as a SURFeduhub Administrator
Already connected to SURFeduhub? Then send an email to surfeduhub@surf.nl and request access. You will then receive a SURFconext Invite via email. This invite must be accepted with the institutional account associated with the email address. After acceptance, you can log in to the SURFeduhub Dashboard at https://dashboard.surfeduhub.nl.
Actions for Executives
Are you an executive? Make sure your SURFeduhub administrators are aware of this update and take a look at the new Dashboard. This way, you and your application administrator ensure that your educational institution shares responsibility for your data together with SURF.
