Introduction
The publicly available edubadges demo environment at https://demo.edubadges.nl/ is available to everyone and is intended to test the various functionalities of the edubadges platform. The data of this demo environment is regularly reset to the initial situation as we have set it up. New functionalities can be tested in this demo environment before they are put into production.

You can log in to the Edubadges issuer portal via the SURFconext Test IdP:

NB: Most of the example data can be accessed by using the username: staff1 and password: staff1.

Backpack accounts / eduID accounts
To see how Edubadges operates from a learners point of view you can logon to the demo backpack using this demo-learner account.
By default the only IdP that is offered on the backpack is the eduID IdP, but since this is the only one, you won't see the 'Where Are You From' (WAYF) selection screen here at the Backpack login.
Note that you supply the username student19example@gmail.com and use the password option to login: Password1!
Edubadges can be issued to the demo learner by either using the email address student19example@gmail.com or by using the EPPN student19@university-example.org in combination with your own email address so you would be able to receive the email also.
