Via Federated Sharing, you are able to share a folder or file with a user on a different Research Drive environment or SURFdrive.
In order to do this, you need to know the Federated Cloud ID of the user you want to share with.

In these examples, we will show you where to find your Federated Cloud ID and how to share a folder via Federated Sharing with an another environment.

Tip

You can use the Federated Cloud ID also to share files and folders with persons who are using other ownCloud instances, for example an international research partner.
