The WAYF (Were Are You From) selection page shows all Identity Providers that are allowed to access your service. If a handful of IdP's is connected to your service, only those will be shown. If one IdP is connected to a service, the WAYF is skipped al together since there is nothing to choose from. To make life easier, the previously chosen IdP is displayed on top of the list. The SURFconext WAYF page is automatically used when you connect to SURFconext using the basic Identity Provider metadata. This way, you configure SURFconext to be your service's only Identity Provider. The screenshots below show what the user will see when logging on to a service.
Note that the WAYF is skipped when:
- Only one IdP is connected to a service
- When more than one IdP is connected to a service and when the user logged into an IdP, the WAYF remembers this IdP for 5 minutes for a next login and the WAYF is skipped. If within those 5 minutes, the user logs into the IdP, this timer is set to 5 minutes again.
