SURF Research Access Management (SRAM) is a service to manage access to research resources, intended for Dutch led research collaborations. It takes away the hassle to create and manage user accounts for different applications. Read the introduction on SRAM on SURF.nl.

Explained in two minutes

For researchers and research collaborations, properly arranging and managing access to research applications (for example creating accounts or disabling them) often takes a lot of time and resources; something that could rather be spent on doing actual research. SRAM provides research collaborations with fast, easy, and secure access.

Conceptual overview

SURF Research Access Management builds upon many well established and proven building blocks for identity management and research, uses international (open) standards where possible (like AARC), and consists mostly of SURF-developed open-source components.
