SURF is an active participant in major connectivity consortia such as ANA and AER, and works in close partnership with GÉANT, NORDUnet, and other R&E networks around the globe — strengthening both international collaboration and digital infrastructure.

These initiatives are built on principles of capacity sharing, reciprocal backup agreements, and the joint operation of high-speed interconnects through GXPs like NetherLight.
