Contactpersonen
Binnen SURFeduhub onderscheiden we een aantal rollen. Om SURFeduhub succesvol te gebruiken binnen jouw organisatie, is het nodig deze rollen te verdelen onder de medewerkers binnen de organisatie. Elke rol heeft zijn eigen verplichtingen en verantwoordelijkheden. We kennen de volgende rollen:
- Instellingscontactpersoon (ICP)
- SURFeduhub contactpersoon
Onderstaande rollen worden beheerd in het https://mijn.surf.nl. De rol ICP kan rollen toekennen en wijzigen.
Instellingscontactpersoon (ICP)
De rol instellingscontactpersoon (ICP) is niet specifiek voor SURFeduhub, maar geldt voor de totale SURF-dienstverlening. SURF ziet de instellingscontactpersoon als algemeen aanspreekpunt en contactpersoon. Ook is hij verantwoordelijk voor het tekenen van de contracten met SURF. Als het gaat om SURFeduhub stelt de instellingscontactpersoon de rolverdeling binnen jouw organisatie vast. Hij kan onderstaande SURFeduhub-specifieke rollen aan andere medewerkers toekennen, maar ook aan zichzelf.

SURFeduhub contactpersoon
De ICP of BVI wijst binnen je instelling een SURFeduhub-contactpersoon aan en registreert deze in SURFdashboard. De SURFeduhub-contactpersoon is eigenaar van de instellingsgegevens binnen het SURFeduhub-platform en heeft rechten om rollen en rechten toe te kennen en te beheren.
Wat doet de SURFeduhub-contactpersoon?
Eenmalig
- Richt binnen het SURFeduhub Dashboard de rollen en rechten in van de data-afnemers.
- Levert de benodigde informatie over je instelling aan (logo, beschrijving, enzovoort).
Structureel
- Beheert de instellingsgegevens.
- Is aanspreekpunt voor SURF.
Wie kan deze rol het beste vervullen?
Aan wie je de rol van SURFeduhub-contactpersoon toewijst, hangt af van van de inrichting van je organisatie. Dit kan een functioneel beheerder van de onderwijssystemen zijn, maar ook een medewerker bij de studentenadministratie.
Contact Persons
Within SURFeduhub, we distinguish several roles. To successfully use SURFeduhub within your organization, it is necessary to distribute these roles among the staff. Each role has its own obligations and responsibilities. The following roles are recognized::

- SURFeduhub Contact Person
The roles below are managed in https://mijn.surf.nl. The ICP role can assign and modify roles.
Institution Contact Person (ICP)
The role of institution contact person (ICP) is not specific to SURFeduhub but applies to the entire SURF service provision. SURF sees the institution contact person as the general point of contact. They are also responsible for signing contracts with SURF. Regarding SURFeduhub, the institution contact person determines the role distribution within your organization. They can assign the SURFeduhub-specific roles below to other staff members, including themselves.

SURFeduhub Contact Person
The ICP or BVI designates a SURFeduhub contact person within your institution and registers them in SURFdashboard. The SURFeduhub contact person is the owner of the institution's data within the SURFeduhub platform and has the rights to assign and manage roles and permissions.
What does the SURFeduhub Contact Person do?
One-time tasks:
- Set up the roles and permissions of data consumers within the SURFeduhub Dashboard.
- Provide the necessary information about your institution (logo, description, etc.).
Ongoing tasks:
- Manage the institution's data.
- Serve as the point of contact for SURF.
Who is best suited for this role?
The assignment of the SURFeduhub contact person role depends on the structure of your organization. This could be a functional administrator of the educational systems or a staff member in student administration.
