Once the agreement is signed and your physical connection to NetherLight is established (see Getting a port on NetherLight), you can request one or more interconnections to other connected parties. The interconnection is an EVPN-based service between parties (see Services & Pricing), running across NetherLight's equipment that can be accessed via a new VLAN established on your (tagged) NetherLight Ethernet port. 



1. Preparation

For an interconnection between two or more connected parties, all parties involved must agree to the initiator's request for interconnection.

For an interconnection between a vendor and a SURF member, the connection request must be initiated by the SURF member organisation.

2. Request interconnection

Interconnection requests, with evidence of agreement of the parties, should be sent admin@netherlight.net

3. Implementation

When the EVPN service is established, the NetherLight NOC notifies the connected parties that the service can be put into use.
