Go to your backback and select the edubadge that you want to share.

When you receive an edubadge, it is set to private. To be able to share the edubadge, you must first make the edubadge public. Public edubadges can be verified, in the validation section your validated name will be shown. If you have not validated your name that will be visible. You can validate your name through your institution, iDIN or eIDAS.

To make the edubadge public, turn off the slider. You will then receive the message below:

It is possible to hide the grade if it has been added to the edubadge.

Click on Confirm.

You are now able to share the badge through a link by clicking on Share. It is also possible to possible to add the badge to you LinkedIN profile by clicking on IN Add to profile.

Click on Open your backpack.

You will now see your backpack. Click at he left side of the screen on Collections.

Click on Create a new collection.

Fill in the fields and click Save. Don't forget to make the collection public to share it. This also applies to the badges!

If you share an edubadge with someone, the recipient can see whether the edubadge is really yours. You can do this by sharing the link of the badge you obtained with someone. It is also possible to verify the badges with an intermediate step on LinkedIN.

Go to the LinkedIn profile, scroll down to Licenses & certifications and click on Show credential.

The edubadge is opened in edubadges.nl. Then click Verify.

A pop up will appear and the verification will be performed.
