Het SURF Netwerk Dashboard is alleen toegankelijk voor contactpersonen waaraan een van de volgende Autorisatierollen is toegewezen in het SURF Dashboard.

Instellingscontactpersoon (ICP) kent rol toe aan collega

Het SURF Netwerk Dashboard is alleen toegankelijk voor contactpersonen die in mijn.surf.nl één van de volgende Autorisatierollen heeft toegewezen gekregen.

  • Infrabeheerder
    Kijkrechten voor alle netwerkdiensten

  • Infraverantwoordelijke
    Kijk- en schrijfrechten voor alle netwerkdiensten

  • Beveiligingsverantwoordelijke
    Kijk- en schrijfrechten voor SURFcert and DDoS protection settings

  • SURFwireless beheerder
    Kijkrechten voor draadloze netwerkdiensten

  • Domeinnamenverantwoordelijke
    Kijk- en schrijftechten voor SURFdomeinen

  • DNS beheerder
    Bekijk en bewerk rechten op SURFdomeinen

De instellingscontactpersoon (ICP) of diens plaatsvervanger de Instellingsbevoegde, kan deze rollen toewijzen aan 1 of meer  contactpersonen met een profiel in mijn.surf.nl, dan wel een nieuw contactpersoon met deze rol aanmaken. De instellingscontactpersoon (ICP) of diens plaatsvervanger de Instellingsbevoegde kun je herkennen aan het aandachtsgebied 'instellingsbevoegde'.

De stappen die de instellingscontactpersoon of instellingsbevoegde zal moeten uitvoeren, zijn:

  • Ga naar mijn.surf.nl
  • Log in met SURFconext en kies je eigen IDP of eduID.
  • Onder het menu item Organisatie vind je de Contactpersonen
  • Zoek de contactpersoon op
    • Voeg aan dit bestaand Contactpersoon de rol bijvoorbeeld infraverantwoordelijke toe
  • Of als voor de contactpersoon nog nog niet bestaat
    • Maak een nieuw contactpersoon aan.

    • Voeg aan deze nieuwe contactpersoon de rol (bijvoorbeeld) infraverantwoordelijke toe

    • De contactpersoon ontvangt per ommegaande een mail met een koppelverzoek. Na acceptatie is de contactpersoon gekoppeld.

Daarna is het SURF Netwerk Dashboard beschikbaar via https://netwerkdashboard.surf.nl/ voor de contactpersoon met de nieuwe rollen.

    View and edit rights for any network services

  • Beveiligingsverantwoordelijke (security responsible)
    View and edit rights on SURFcert and DDoS protection settings

  • SURFwireless beheerder (wireless maintainer)
    View rights for your wireless network services

  • Domeinnamenverantwoordelijke (dns responsible)
    View and edit DNS settings

  • DNS beheerder (DNS maintainer)
    View and edit rights on SURFdomeinen


The institutional contact person (ICP) or his deputy the institution representative can assign these roles to 1 or more contactpersons with a profile in mijn.surf.nl, or create a new profile with this contactperson. You can recognise the institutional contact person (ICP) or his deputy the institution representative by the focus area (Aandachtsgebied) 'instellingsbevoegde'.


The steps that the 'institution representative' will have to perform are:

  • Go to mijn.surf.nl.
  • Log in with SURFconext and select your IDP or eduID.
  • Search for the contactperson
    • Add the role for example the infrastructure manager ( infraverantwoordelijke) to this existing contactperson
  • Or if no profile exists for the contactperson
    • Create a new contactperson
    • Add the role
    • for example the infrastructure manager ( infraverantwoordelijke) to this new contactperson
  • The contactperson will receive an e-mail with a request to authorize the request. Click accept and the role will become active.

The SURF Network Dashboard will then be available via https://netwerkdashboard.surf.nl/ for the contactperson with the new role(s).
