Not all applications registered to the platform are available as collaboration admin to connect. Whether an application is available for a collaboration is determined by the application administrator and, in special cases, the type of organisation that is resonsible for the collaboration.

Access rules

An application admin must manage the availability of the application to make visible for collaboration admins and to make it possible to connect the application to collaborations.

Depending on the choices on the three main questions, as shown below, the table becomes visible and more or fewer options become available.

For SURF organisations, the application must be a SURF application

Since SURF provides both the SURF Research Access Management platform and some of its applications are accessable via the platform, the rules regarding data processing agreements are different. That's why SURF organisations, notably 'SURF', 'SURF Research Cloud' and 'University of Harderwijk' can only connect applications that are provided by SURF.
