Users

According to the privacy policy, SRAM will delete inactive users: "If we don't see activity on our platform for a user profile within the last 12 months, we will send out an email to the user whether the user wants us to delete the central user profile. If the user does not reply within 3 months nor does the user sign in to our application within those 3 months, SURF will delete the user profile."

A user is considered inactive when they have not logged into on a web application and not into SRAM itself.

An inactive user will be suspended after 365 days, and receive a reminder by email 10 days before suspension. After 90 days the user profile is deleted.

A suspended user can login on SRAM and on web applications, because, by logging in, the user immediately isn't inactive any more. A suspended user shouldn't be able to log into non-web applications, depending on the application's configuration.

In LDAP suspension is expressed by setting the value of the status attribute to expired.

Collaborations

According to the privacy policy, SRAM will delete inactive collaborations: "If we don't see any activity in relation to a [collaboration] for 12 months, SURF will send out an email to the [collaboration]-admin and/or the Organisation contact person whether they want us to delete the [collaboration]. If we don't get a reply within 3 months nor do we see any activity regarding the [collaboration] within those 3 months, SURF will delete the [collaboration]."

A collaborations is considered inactive when it has not been changed and and no member has logged into a linked web application.

An inactive collaboration will be suspended after 365 days. Its admins and the organisation admin will receive a reminder by email 10 days before suspension. After 90 days the collaboration is removed.

Suspension of a collaboration is reverted when a member logs into a linked web application, or the button on the collaboration's page is used by an admin .
