This page describes the process when you forgot your CUA password

This does not reset your password for the Servicedesk. If you have forgotten your servicedesk password, you can have a look here.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to https://portal.cua.surf.nl/
  2. Click on the blue link Forgot Password?

  3. Fill in your SURFcua login and click the button Submit

    The SURFcua login is not your e-mail address but a string that is based on your first and last name and used to authenticate at Snellius, Spider, Data Archive

  4. Follow the instructions in the email you have got

  5. The email looks like this. Make sure you follow up within 5 minutes otherwise the link will be expired, and you have to start over again.

  6.  Enter new password twice.
